From the Bride… The day of the wedding happened so fast; I remember what felt like bursts of seeing my friends and family. I was so nervous that the day would go by and I would never be able to live it all over again. Given that my friends and family were not afraid of having a good time I was not afraid that the moments shared wouldn’t be amazing. I knew that I needed an amazing photographer to capture those special moments! I knew from the moment that I met Julie Jones at Picture Something Blue she was the photographer for me. She was completely able to keep pace with my fun loving crowd. She helped me each step of the way and provided wonderful advice. After that one special day passed and all the planning that went into the wedding subsided, I couldn’t wait to see our photos. We couldn’t have been happier. They were completely “Us.” I realized that the love that went into each of the photos that were taken at our wedding was reflected in each moment I had hoped to capture in my mind forever… it was the best day of my life and the first day of my new life.

From the Groom To Be… From the moment that we set out to shoot our engagement photos, I felt comfortable with Julie Jones as our photographer. Calm and collected she knew what she was doing and guided us. It didn’t even feel like we were getting our photos taken at all rather having fun with a good friend. We were so excited that we were able to be us and that we were really able to enjoy the moments. Our engagement photos turned out great! They show our love for one another. We are excited for the wedding photos and introducing Julie and Donie to Michigan Life.
